  • Walt Disney

    Founder, Chairman of the Board

    Mr. Disney is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice at Disney Family Therapy in Kansas City Missouri. He is married with four children. He is a native of Kansas City, and after serving 13 years in the US Navy SEALs at SEAL Team 3 in Coronado, California, he returned to Kansas City. He attended Friends University-Lenexa campus to earn a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. Mr. Disney has been a provider for approximately 600 Veterans and First Responders to recover from PTSD through comprehensive, community-based approaches in various organizations.

  • Corey Badder

    Board Member

    Corey was born and raised in Blue Springs Missouri, where he developed his profound love for the water. Corey was a competitive athlete in high school leading the swim team. Corey joined the Navy and became a hospital Corpsman. Corey was stationed as “Doc“ with the Marines and completed FOUR combat tours in support of GWOT. Corey is a dedicated father and a highly skilled sales professional. Corey serves on the board because he understands the deep need for community and care that is fulfilled by Camp David. 

  • Lori Disney

    Board Finance Secretary

    Lori was born in Manila, Philippines, to two parents, who were Medical Doctors, and medical missionaries to remote peoples of the Philippines. She attended Azusa Pacific University to achieve a degree in communications. She has raised four adult children. She works at Christ Community Church in an administrative and ministry capacity. She has become a part of Camp David because her husband dragged her into service kicking and screaming "NO"!!!

  • Jenni Lawson

    Board Secretary

    Jenni was raised in Iowa and has deep American values. Incredibly intellectually gifted she ventured to broaden her horizons. Jenni is a Senior Tax Payroll Specialist within corporate medical care. She has two adult children. She is the surviving wife of Matt Lawson and helps to carry his light and the torch of Camp David.

  • Matthew Lawson

    Board Member

    Matt lawson is a native of Missouri growing up in Clinton Missouri and attending university of Missouri working in animal genetics. After gaining his degree, he moved into a position with CNI Capital: Case IH and new Holland. Although never serving in the military, Matt had a deep vein of patriotism, and was the awarded the Missouri medal of valor for his courage and heroism and saving fellow citizens. Matt was an avid outdoorsman and served on a number of boards that served youth veterans and first responders. Matthew, Brent Lawson passed into Eternity to shy of his 50th birthday on September 7, 2024. He will remain as an influenced Camp-David in perpetuity. His surviving wife,Jenni is as well.

  • Tod Miller

    Board Member

    Todd was born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio. He entered into the United States Navy to become a Navy SEAL. Tod met his wife while going through training in California. This is also where he met Walt, the founder, who was his instructor. Whom he affectionately referred to as Satan! Tod served at Seal Team 5. He was eventually medically discharged. Tod is also earned the Navy-Marine Corps medal for heroic life-saving efforts while on active duty. Tod is the owner of SherDec Tree Company in Cincinnati. He is a part of Camp David because he thinks Walter is the coolest person alive and the programs are the best comprehensive care he has considered.
